1/6/2024 0 Comments Good stats pokertrackerWell, you can essentially use PokerTracker to copy the strategies of the top players in your games (who are already winning big), and just use them for yourself. I still have a lot of progress to be made so I guess just having some baseline stats to look for will help at least get my game on track while I try and develop a fully fledged study routine. As an online poker pro people ask me all the time what poker tracking software and HUD (heads up display) I use.Īnd as I have stated before, I have been using PokerTracker 4 for over 10 years now, essentially since it was first released.īut I have never done a full PokerTracker 4 review before in order to explain exactly why it is that I and so many other pros use this program.Īlso, I have never before revealed the secret strategies that I use on the PokerTracker backend (database) to not only find my own leaks and fix them, but to discover the strategies used by the best players.ĭon't know why you aren't winning at online poker? I guess I'm just concerned then with 3B stats from each position vs each position, c-bet frequencies (specifically OOP) as well as general minimal/ maximal folding frequencies post-flop. You really want to reference this sort of thing against a set of preflop solutions to see where you or your opponents are deviating. RFI from BU, SB, 3bet SB vs BU, 3bet IP vs EP-CO open, etc etc. The most reliable stats imo will be positional preflop stats. ![]() Just know that as you move up in stakes, you will start to deal with a limited number of screen names on any given site, and you should try to be observant to get more situational reads on your opponents rather than dive into fringe postflop stats that may be misleading. HUD stats are best used to identify population outliers (primarily fish) when your pool is big and it's tough to keep tabs on individual players. These stats are highly subject to error and bias.įor example, if you are routinely playing 3 handed, your VPIP, PFR and 3bet will all be drastically higher than if you always play full 6 handed tables. If you are to raise more hands preflop, you'd probably want a slightly higher aggression factor as well right?).Īre there any good resources I can find that go over these statistics and offer some type of break-down as to why these stats correlate with less exploitable play?Īll the stats you mentioned provide very "broad strokes" information, and you should avoid trying to think about achieving some kind of base stat. I would have thought fold flop and fold turn should be relatively balanced as well as various aggression frequencies. PokerTracker's leak tracker gives some good guidelines, but for instance doesn't seem to show which stats should be connected (e.g. I mean, VPIP and PFR tend to be pretty easy to find, as well as 3B for most positions, CB tends to be somewhere between 55-65% as I understand, however more advanced ones such as FCB, delayed CB, check-raise flop/ turn, call river, CB 3-Bet pot, donk etc are a bit harder for me to find. ![]() Here is a better question I think will cover quite a lot of what I'm asking for in these threads: what are the typical stats I should be aiming for? I realize these are essentially impossible questions to answer as to irrefutably state any as fact would require a full solution to the game. I've asked quite a fair bit on this forum with some rather open-ended questions regarding how much you should call down etc, how to value your hands, how to decide on a defence frequency, along with others.
